My game to LudumDare57



๐ฎ I made a game for Ludum Dare 57 โ itโs called Hollow Depths! ๐ This was my first time joining LD, and I went with the compo route, so everything was made solo in 48 hours โ code, art, design, and sound!
The theme was โDepthsโ, and I created a turn-based strategy game inspired a bit by the atmosphere of ZZZ.
๐น๏ธ About the game: You control a small research device in the center of a mysterious map. To keep it running, you need to collect ether drops, which you get by defeating enemies.
Use ether to unlock new zones, but beware! The farther you go from your base, the faster the zones start to fade away. If youโre not careful, you might get stranded and lose everything. So itโs all about planning your moves and surviving as long as you can.
This project helped me better understand the constraints of game jams and how to focus on core mechanics. Any feedback is appreciated.
